Big up Biggins says Cilla

Everything I predicted Biggins would do in the jungle he has done.

He has been the same wonderful person all his friends know and love.

We first met 24 years ago working on the first two series of Surprise Surprise.

They thought it was a great combination - I am as common as muck and he is terribly grand. But he isn't grand personally, he is just an "Ac-tor".

And he has always been there for me.

When my husband Bobby wasn't very well he couldn't see very many people. But Biggins was allowed. He turned up at our house with an inflatable flower but it started deflating and making this weird noise.

We burst out laughing and I said it could have been worse, you could have brought one of those dreadful blow-up dolls! It cheered up Bobby.

Biggins is the life and soul of any party. But I think he is just grateful to be in there.
And when he comes out I hope he gets a great film role. He is a tremendous actor and people forget that.
