Default She\'s rumbled in the jungle

We're all thinking it so I might as well say it. How much is Sarah Matravers enjoying the attention she's getting out of being jungle jilted?

She arrived in Australia pulling hammy "ooh, I'm going to strangle him" faces and threatening to "cut off his kangaroo balls".

She said she wanted to speak to Marc in private, then suggested producers put her into the show to confront him in the least private way ever.

This is the most publicity the struggling actress - last (probably not) seen in Footballers' Wives: Extra Time - has ever had. And it's clear she intends to make the most of it.

Pictures of her posing in her pants made it across a spread in a Sunday paper and yesterday the cameras were there to capture her departure from the couple's home.

There are two ways to go when your partner's falling in love with someone who's not you on a reality show. Sarah's way, or the more dignified method employed by Camille, girlfriend of Celeb Big Brother's Preston before he met Chantelle. She stayed schtum, kept her head down and waited for the fuss to blow over. Which it did. Along with Preston's marriage. (Karma, innit?)

When Big Brother 2's Helen and Paul hooked up, she had a boyfriend. Big G (What? That was his name!) only did one interview at the time, with... drumroll... moi. Yup, when the A-listers talk, it's me they come to.

In my infinite wisdom I assured Big G he had nothing to worry about. Helen obviously wasn't seriously interested in Paul. Let's call this advice slightly misguided rather than just plain wrong, eh?

Reality TV is showing no sign of going away, so there will be more spurned lovers watching their partners antics from behind cushions in the future. Someone needs to be there for them, offering guidance. It is possibly best that person is not me, as Big G will testify (if he's stopped crying).

Relate, sort it out. If ever there was a time to launch Reality-ate, it's now.
