Three of the over 25's, mentored by Shaun, will reach the live stages, but it's up to the forum's votes to decide which three. Here's a quick recap of the 14 contenders... Verity (series 1) Verity is the oldest contestant to make it to the live shows, but was voted out in Week 2. Rowetta (series 1) Rowetta sung her heart out week after week, and managed to take fourth place! Steve (series 1) Steve, despite Sharon's best efforts, won the first series of The X Factor, but has faded into obscurity ever since... Maria (series 2) A favourite to win the show, Maria was sent home against The Conway Sisters, much to the anguish of the fans of the show! Chico (series 2) What time is it? Hated by Simon at the beginning, Chico managed to win everyone over, and despite being in the bottom 2 three times, he still remained in the competition and took fifth place. Brenda (series 2) An incredibly popular contestant with a great voice looked set to give Shayne a run for his money, but surprisingly, Brenda only took fourth place in the second series. Andy (series 2) Ex-binman Andy started off as the favourite, and ended up coming second only to Shayne Ward. Dionne (series 3) After a fantastic Week 1 Performance, Dionne still found herself in the bottom two, and was voted out in Week 3 as part of the Double Elimination. Kerry (series 3) After a couple of safe performances, Kerry also ended up voted out in the Double Elimination in Big Band Week! Robert (series 3) Despite strong performanced, Robert was voted out on his third time in the bottom two, though still acheiving sixth place. Ben (series 3) The early favourite to win the show, Ben just missed out on the final, as Ray and Leona pipped him to the post! Daniel (series 4) Another early favourite, Daniel was the second act eliminated after giving an...interesting rendition of "Build Me Up, Buttercup" Beverley (series 4) Beverley had the voice, but not the support, and maybe one sob story too many, as she was voted out in the first Deadlock ever. Niki (series 4) Dinnerlady Niki wowed the judges in the first week, but has struggled to match it since. However, she is still aiming to win the £1million recording contract. You have two days to vote, so get voting! |
