If you're talking about those types of songs, reputation had Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Don't Blame Me, Call It What You Want etc.

ME! was never going to reach #1 - it's not a song that would shoot up, it's the same as Shake It Off in the sense that it's catchy and it'll hit top 10 and will stick around for months because of how catchy it is.

Welp, those songs are nothing like the ones I stated earlier, and no songs on reputation were like those songs. None were meaningful or had proper storytelling lyrics
