Leon delighted with Kylie duet

Leon Jackson has admitted he is "over the moon" about singing a duet with pop princess Kylie Minogue in the X Factor final.

The 18-year-old Scottish lad, who is mentored by Kylie's sister Dannii, said: "I'm just over the moon to be singing with someone who is obviously a superstar, someone of that calibre, it's absolutely fantastic."


But he revealed he might be lost for words when he actually meets her: "I don't really know what I'll say to her - probably, 'Hiya Kylie.' Dannii's told me to be nice to her. That will be a real moment for me to meet her."

Leon, who has been compared to his idol Michael Buble, is due to sing White Christmas and a reprieve of his favourite song You Don't Know Me in Saturday's final, as well as a surprise song with Kylie.

He added that Big Band week had been a turning point in his X Factor success.

"I was in my comfort zone and I realised that you can't afford to be nervous in a competition like this in order to do well. I just found myself enjoying it more and just went out and gave it my all on the stage," he said.
