Same Difference squirm over lyrics
Quote:
Same Difference squirm over lyrics Same Difference have revealed that they ask to sing to dancers when they perform certain songs on X Factor, to avoid embarrassment over slushy lyrics.
The brother and sister duo, who are due to perform All I Want For Christmas Is You in Saturday's final, admitted it was tough singing love songs.
Sarah Smith, 18, said: "It's really difficult having to sing love songs but obviously most duets are like that so normally we request if we can have a dancer to sing to so we don't have to sing to one another, because that's a bit wrong."
She added: "It's like 'Can you give me a fitty please?' and Sean will have one as well and then we turn our backs to each other and sing outwards."
Speaking at a press conference, Sean said he didn't think it was "cool" for anyone to admit to liking their cheesy style of music, but judge Sharon Osbourne insisted her daughter Kelly and her "old man" Ozzy were both fans.
Meanwhile, favourite Rhydian Roberts said he thought being portrayed as a 'villain' at the start of the ITV talent show had actually helped him reach the final.
"Initially, that was quite hard, but, looking back, it's done me a favour because people took an interest in me. I felt determined to turn it around and I think I have.
"But I have got this show to thank. Maybe, had they not portrayed me in that light, I wouldn't have got so far."
