Exclusive Dan warns off his former Big Brother housemate
By John Dingwall
ROOSTER and The Futureheads are the latest big-name acts lining up to play this summer's T In The Park festival. The sell-out weekender takes place onTHEYwere friends and before long were flirty with each other, but now the claws are out between Jason Cowan and his Big Brother housemate Dan Bryan.
Last night Dan warned the Scot to stay away from this summer's Live + Loud with One Scotland festival because he never wants to see him again.
Dan has joined the line up at the pop event at Hampden stadium on June 29.
He'll be performing at DJ set in the Active Grooves Tent along with an all-star dance line-up.
And he says Jason is not welcome because he will never forgive him for his behaviour during last year's Big Brother.
Dan said: 'I never want to see that man again in my life.
'He is a prat. To start with he and I had a very flirtatious relationship in the house but then he revealed his true colours.
'He refused to accept who he is and I refuse to get on with a guy who lives a pretence like he does.'
Dan, from Hull, pulls no punches when it comes to the reason for his big rift with Jason. He said: 'He was into me but he has this big act all the time and I don't buy into that.
'I will be body-swerving him.
'But I shall be meeting up with Shell. I'll be giving her a ring.'
Dan, a hairdresser to trade, has been DJing since he was 17-year-old and has now teamed up with dance outfit LMK Project and is recording an album.
He claims it was the pressure of launching his dance career that led to him collapsing outside a nightclub recently.
He said: 'I'm doing too much. My body told me I was doing too much and I couldn't ignore it because I collapsed outside a nightclub.
'My blood sugar is up and down all the time and I have to make sure I eat regularly and I hadn't been eating that night. A couple of glasses of wine and the fresh air and I went down and hit the pavement. My knees just went.'
He added: 'It was extremely embarrassing to see the paparazzi pictures in the papers the next day.
'It has happened to me before but it always takes meby surprise.
'But if I have an apple or bag of nuts I can be on my merry way.'
Doctors ordered complete rest but he has defied their advice. He can't wait to appear in Glasgow at the SRH-organised event.
Dan said: 'We're working on an album and getting ready for the summer gigs.
'I love to see all the songs taking shape. We've spent a lot of time in the studio. It becomes your baby, almost part of you.
'We'll be doing a few songs at Live + Loud to get everybody in the mood and moshing.'
But he admitted: 'It's a lot harder for me to do this after being on Big Brother because the expectation is so high.
'If I was nobody, then nobody would bat an eyelid. But everyone is waiting for me to fall flat onmy face.
'I'll try not to let that happen
