PARIS BLUE IT WITH SMURF INSULT

NOW we all know Paris Hilton is fond of collecting different species.

Chihuahuas, moggies, bush babies… Oh, and a ragtag collection of young handsome men (and yes, they are a different species.)

But you’d think that Paris would know that Smurfs are not real.

She certainly seemed to think they were when she tried to “adopt” two actors who were playing the cartoon characters at a Berlin Christmas Market.

And the Russian dwarves wearing blue body paint to promote Haribo’s delicious Smurf jelly sweets were not impressed with her attention.

Our sauerkraut-chomping source said: “I don’t know if Paris had been on the mulled wine but when she saw the chaps on the sweet stall, she squealed.

“We heard her saying: ‘Oh my, real live smurfs. I always wanted one when I was a kid’ before turning to her pal and asking: ‘Can I take them home?’

“Then she added: ‘I didn’t realise that this is where they came from.’

“She then started talking about adding them to her collection and bent down to talk to them in a babyish voice.

“I really don’t think she was trying to cause offence. But the actors were really narked off about it all.”

The source added: “One of them just flipped and starting shouting at Paris.

“He obviously spoke fluent English and told her in no uncertain terms that he was a grown man and that she was being very patronising.

“It was a bit chilly and they were frazzled after a long day so not prepared to put up with the kooky American; it was quite a scene.”

And one we can only lament about not seeing with our own peepers but Paris was so taken with the idea of her own Smurfs that we might yet get the chance.

The 26-year-old wants to enlist a some blue-painted dwarves to serve drinks at her birthday next year.
Her new beau, German model Julian Feitsma is apparently keen to book Papa and his minions for her February bash.

Let’s hope it doesn’t lead to another blue movie for Paris.
