Together with his wife, Ingo Kantorek was returning from a vacation in Italy, when their car first hit a concrete wall and then crashed into a truck parked on the side of a highway.
Ingo Kantorek is known for his role in the TV Series Cologne 50667 (Köln 50667), which he has been playing since 2013.
Kantorek’s wife, Suzana, was behind the wheel at the time of the accident.
The actor died upon impact and Suzana was taken to hospital where she passed away a few hours later.
