Honestly probably the best FF remaster so far? They've somehow dramatically upped the textures on the sprites while still making them fit with the original backgrounds . It works better than I had expected and honestly the low res sprites in FF8 were hilariously bad at times... having a lot of fun replaying for platinum (which will be effortless - I played this game TO DEATH in my teens and could 100% it in my sleep, plus you can skip random battles and FF8 requires zero exp grind so...)

Though how will I beat Omega without using the open-disc-tray Selphie cheat ...
