Raquelle Gracie of X Factor band Hope has admitted to the Daily Star that she tried to secure a record deal by kissing Simon Cowell.

"I went to see Simon in his dressing room after the final show to say goodbye to him. While I was in there I gave him a goodbye kiss and tried to persuade him into signing us up to his label."

Unluckily for Raquelle and the rest of the Hope girls, Terri Seymour (Cowell's girlfriend) was in the room at the time and Simon wasn't having any of it.

"He said we would have to wait until after the X Factor tour to see how well we do."

Raquelle Gracie has admitted she did flirt with Simon Cowell during the series:

"I definitely think there was a bit of flirting going on between me and Simon."
