Republicans will do what they always do, tank the economy, blame it on the next administration and then take their credit when the republicans take the white house again.
Obama inherited a global economic crisis from Bush and put the US back on track, Trump tanked it and Biden will likely fix it but Republicans will make out that the economy was his fault in the first place.
It's what the republicans (and the right wing in general) do best. Lie, project, gaslight, obstruct, these are their most reliable tools.
