![]() Meghan, Duchess of Sussex saw red over blanket colour, claim palace aides Victoria Ward 16 hrs ago The Duchess of Sussex “went mental” at her personal assistant for ordering blankets that were the wrong shade of red, it has been claimed. Meghan Markle wearing a blue shirt and smiling at the camera: The Duchess of Sussex - PA© PA The Duchess of Sussex - PA Meghan, 39, is said to have had “unattainably high demands” causing untold tensions with her Kensington Palace staff. When she hosted a shooting party at Sandringham for Prince Harry’s friends, shortly after their engagement, she allegedly told her PA, Melissa Touabti, to order red, personally embroidered blankets for each of the guests. A source told the Sunday Times: “When they arrived, they weren’t the right shade of red for Meghan and she went mental at Melissa.” Ms Toubati is said to have left “traumatised” by the Duchess’s alleged behaviour and left the Royal Household six months after the Sussexes’ wedding, amid claims she had been reduced to tears. the Victim The Duke’s first PA, who was working for him when Meghan arrived, is also said to have left within months. “Half of the staff threatened to quit,” one former aide told the newspaper, while another claimed: “The entire household was on the verge of quitting...it was drama, drama, drama with those two.” Even the Sussexes’ engagement interview was said to have failed to meet Meghan’s standards. “She complained it hadn’t gone well, that Mishal [Husain] wasn’t empathetic enough, wasn’t warm enough,” a source is reported to have said. The Duchess declined to comment on the claims. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/entertainm...es/ar-BB1ejLdt I think many of us have at one time worked for an aggressive abusive Boss so can empathise with the poor lady?
