Whether anyone listens or not is irrelevant, I just felt like a few things needed to be said about the obsession with this couple and it's impact on the forum. I think you would be surprised (judging by your post) just how many people feel exactly the same way as me. Now I don't expect anything to change for a very good reason - things can't change unless there is a rule change, and no one wants random rule changes (me included).
