I mean I get the whole ‘if we can take in and home people from a different country, why can’t we do that for our own’ argument… buuut I don’t think that homing refugees means that a homeless vet misses out lol. We haven’t helped them and we still won’t help them. Once someone in the uk becomes homeless, there is very little help and understanding there.

Two completely different situations tbh. Both terrible but I don’t think someone is automatically racist for bringing it up. Maybe just read the room or something, idk
