America is ancient history. The english helped build America. Thats a different story. It was ages ago , not relatively modern history. As far as I know , Canada and Australia are both happy to be part of the British Commonwealth. Northen Ireland is a different story. There is some clear resistance there for the past..oh I dont know...100 years?
