Default Doctor who to the diary room!

In what is being described as the most surreal episode of BBC's Doctor Who 2005 yet, the corporation has released details and preview clips of an upcoming episode that incorporates the Big Brother format.

Bosses at Endemol have allowed the BBC to use the Big Brother house, music and opening titles for an episode of the sci-fi show that sees the Doctor and his companion Rose being stuck inside the Big Brother house.

The episode is due to air in June, it also sees Rose (played by Billie Piper) star in a spoof episode of the Weakest Link with host Anne Droid, and the Doctor concluding the episode by appearing in a spoof of Trinny and Susannah's What Not to Wear.

May sound like a bizarre story line - but interesting never the less. Russell T Davies, the creator of the new series, says it is 'one of his favourite' episodes.
