Default Cliff Richard - Christmas with Cliff

https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebri...stmas-27927492

Cliff Richard may be 81 years old, but he is showing no signs of slowing down as the musician just announced his latest album.

It will be his first Christmas record since 2003, and there isn’t much longer to wait for it to release.

The holiday season may feel like a long way away but it’s just over three months until we’ll all be gathering around the Christmas tree again.

Cliff is making sure we’ll all be feeling the seasonal spirit by then with a line-up of festive tunes, including his own takes on some holiday classics and original songs.

Cliff’s record, titled Christmas with Cliff, will hit the shelves on November 25.

It is available for pre-order now, on both CD and Vinyl record.

The album was recorded earlier this year at Criteria Studios in Miami.

What is the track list for Christmas with Cliff?
The album will consist of 13 tracks overall, which are a mix of his own take on Christmas classics, as well as three brand new original songs.

The song list is as follows:

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Sleigh Ride
First Christmas
Joy to the World
Jingle Bell Rock
Blue Christmas
When a Child Is Born
Mary, Did You Know?
Heart of Christmas
Go Tell It on the Mountain
Oh Come, All Ye Faithful
Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
Six Days After Christmas (Happy New Year)

The record follows a tradition of hits for Cliff, including Mistletoe and Wine, which was the Christmas No 1 in 1998.

Cliff said: “I recorded this album in Criteria Studios in Miami, Florida – 4,427 miles away from Abbey Road – and once again I felt that I was in a world of my own.”

The singer worked alongside producers Sam Hollander and Chris Walden for the release.

The musician continued: “They guided me through the well-known Christmas songs and freed me to sing them my way.

“They had differing approaches to the songs that I asked them to produce for me, and they gave this album the dynamics that I had hoped for.

“This album is not just mine, it belongs to all of us involved in creating it, and I hope that we add a little something special to your Christmas season.”
