things didn't go particularly well for trump in the mid terms, DeSantis performed spectacularly well in Florida so will likely announce he will stand for the presidency soon. Trump has started threatening DeSantis, so he is obviously concerned by his popularity. The big problem is that DeSantis is a christian nationalist, so frying pan and fire come to mind
