Who will present Children in Need 2022?
The presenters of this year’s show are set to be Ade Adepitan, Mel Giedroyc, Chris Ramsey, Alex Scott and Jason Manford.
Talking about this year’s campaign, Positive Relationships, Jason Manford said: “This year’s Positive Relationshipscampaign is so important – we need to ensure that children have the basic essentials, like a hot meal and a warm home, and the support they need to be the best they can be.”
Returning presenter Chris Ramsey also commented on the matter: “Right now when the cost of living crisis is causing more children and families to feel anxious about their futures, money raised through BBC Children in Need’s 2022 Appeal will enable the charity to provide vital frontline support workers for children in communities across the UK.”
What to watch on TV
DIY SOS will be airing a special episode in Leeds as part of a Children in Need funded project called the Getaway Girls on Wednesday, November 16.
Nick Knowles and his team Chris, Jules, Billy and Gabrielle Blackman will build the charity's new building in Seacroft from the ground up with the assistance of a large group of volunteers in just nine days.
Blue Peter’s Matt Baker will be taking on a relay-style ride over five days along with five other young people travelling through their hometowns, and visiting places across the UK, which hold a particular significance for them along the way.
The Rickshaw Relay one-off documentary can be caught on BBC One on Tuesday, November 15.
