The Big move sounds good
but it is only until the end of March. [Bus fares will be capped at £2 on more than 4,600 routes in England - but only until the end of March. More than 130 operators outside London will charge no more than £2 for a single ticket from today, the Department for Transport said. The move is being paid for by £60m in government funding. Some of the biggest savings will be on routes between Leeds and Scarborough, where the usual price is around £13; Lancaster and Kendal, where it's £12.50; and Plymouth and Exeter - £9.20. https://news.sky.com/story/bus-fares...march-12777646 https://www.gov.uk/government/news/2...ssengers-money Last edited by arista; 01-01-2023 at 10:55 AM. |
