![]() From India Media The Sun: [Rachel Jane Andelman posted her theory to Twitter yesterday and since then her explanation has gone viral.] [Rachel said: "Donald Duck does not wear pants because they would interfere with the production of preen oil, created in a gland in the rump, that makes his feathers resistant to water." Ducks and birds go through a process known as "preening" each day which is a form of grooming for them. They do this to keep their feathers in the best possible condition. The preen gland found near the base of a bird's tail produces an oily substance that has diester wax which helps keep feathers waterproof and flexible.] https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/581510...-is-convinced/ |
