Obviously, a real well-made coffee is better but Starbucks is still the best "high street coffee" after Nero, and there isn't always a nearby Nero ... so for that I think Starbucks needs to be appreciated and protected. I'm not a huge fan of their performative progressiveness at times but I have to put that to one side because otherwise, we might be stuck with Costa, and that's just really unthinkable.
