Default Instrumental Track Marvin Gaye Nov. 1980

Marvin Gaye - Electric Piano, Synthesizer
Gordon Banks - Electric Guitar
Frank Blair - Electric Bass
Preston Wilcox - Drums
Son Ship - Percussion
Gary Jones - Percussion
Kenny Mason - Trumpet
George Shaw - Trumpet
Fernando Hawkless - Tenor Sax
Elmira Collins - Vibes

Outtake Recorded November 1980

This was time he Left Motown Records
for CBS, Motown paid Bass Player Frank Blair
to take all the Tapes to LA from the London studio.

They put out a LP
but missed his Question Mark
and put out one track, "far cry"
that was Not Finished,
Marvin was still working on that track.

That was enough
he described it as a Great Painting
then someone changing bits on it.

The 2 CD Extended Version came out
after a Musician Found Tinned Tapes
in a dumpster in LA near a Studio.
He checked them and could hear Marvin
singing away.
So he contacted Motown.

The Extended 2CD version
is Utter Bliss.
