If we can all be a little less precious to our own feelings we can fill this thread with some gems.

I think we are all adult enough to laugh at ourselves as we laugh at others, so I open this book to everyone to post memorable quotes that you have either seen on TIBB or heard in real life on that day.
Please give context to quotes.
I will be doing a year long run of this with a monthly poll to select the winner of each month to make sure I have 12 entrants for next late December's award ceremony.
