at 14 if they would be better off
in college or doing an apprenticeship,
Russell Findlay will say today.
The Scottish Tory leader will call for less
academic pupils to be put on a 'fast track'
to work via a practical education
'better suited to their talents'.

Instead of frustrated youngsters
'trapped in a system that isn't
working for them', they would be 'guided'
towards a career.
He said the 'bold' proposal would
open up opportunities for young
people and boost the country's
