Is there any way i can watch Region 1 DVD's on a region 2 DVD player?

Is there any way i can watch Region 1 DVD\'s on a region 2 DVD player?

I'm trying to find a DVD which i've been searching to find for ages. But when i find it on Amazon, it's a Region 1 DVD.

I was just wondering if there is any possible way for it to work on my DVD player? (which is region 2).

Any help please???
