Default Celebs to be in Big Brother

www.thesun.co.uk

STARS are to be locked up in the infamous Big Brother house for a sensational new Channel 4 show.

If the nation went potty over Nasty Nick and ex-lesbian nun Anna, imagine how it will react to seeing ten of our top celebs fighting it out with the winner donating their prize money to charity.

The idea has been successful in Holland where the show originated. Apart from the stars being in the house for just a few days, the only other change from the original Big Brother will be much quicker evictions.

A source at C4 tells me: "We will change the show from ten weeks to one week or even a weekend. People are always fascinated to see what celebrities get up to behind closed doors."

The makers are keeping their shortlist of inmates a secret but they will have a hard job finding contestants who are half as entertaining as the original players.

Here I've drawn up my own shortlist of suitable candidates who could be more than a match for Nasty Nick and Co.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow would be a perfect replacement for dippy, hippy Sada. They both love yoga, muesli...and moaning.

Crazy

TV chef Ainsley Harriot could be Darren. They're both loud, ultra nice and great cooks.

As the mature member of the house with a penchant for the high-life, Peter Stringfellow would fit in nicely as Caroline. Zippy from kids' cult show Rainbow would slip neatly into baldie Nichola's shoes.

Mel B could replace man-eater Mel and soccer star Roy Keane - quiet and reserved but with a crazy streak - would make an ideal Tom.

The biggest cad in Britain, James Hewitt, would be the only man capable of playing the second biggest cad, Nick Bateman.

For Randy Andy there would be no more fitting a replacement than Jamie Theakston and kd lang would take over from Anna as the gay, musical housemate.

And who else but Brookside's lovable and down-to-earth window cleaner Sinbad could take Scouser Craig's place.
