All of the tasks would have to be designed around them and this would limit producers to the possiblilities. BB/Housemates would have to run after them 24/7. It would sort of defeat the object of the show becuase they can't really nominate - they can't see other housemates.

You do know that a lot of blind people are fairly capable of doing things for themselves? Blind people, especially those blind from birth have had to live with the condition for years and have learned to adapt, they can live on their own, do cooking, go for walks etc and basically do most stuff able sighted people can do. They are not complete invalids you know.

Thats 100% true. However we have to look at it from a health and safety standpoint. Channel 4 would have to be very careful. Big Brother would have to set safe tasks because its a liability. As with regular sighted housemates, precautians have to be made. But can you imagine how much the press would milk it if a blind contestant got injured? I mean if a regular sighted housemate got injured in a task it would just be "Housemate injured in task." But with a blind man getting injured the press would milk it for all its worth and make it 1000x worse.
Ive just read through what I wrote above, and sometimes I get the feeling like I know what Im trying to say, but it isnt always clear. So yaknow, if it makes no sense I apologise
