Alex is only like that to protect herself.
She is a product of her up bringing and only reacts like that when she fill threatened, so that other people dont get any ideas and start on her. Its not her fault really. She does what she does, better than Charley can, she is also more able to get people on her side and manipulating. She can also stay calmer than Charley.
She would destroy Charley.
