I here a lot of people complaining about Rachel fence sitting, but I do wonder if the complainers ever know what life is like on the fence.
When two groups you are friends with, fall out big time and each side expects you to choose them it kind of gets hard. Back in the 1980's I was placed in that invidious position. This weekend I found myself in that position again, for reasons of confidentiality I can not go any further into details at this time. It's the easy way out to choose sides and just dump someone else in it and stab them in the back, but some of us do not have that liberty and we are required to remain neutral and impartial when both sides clamour for us to join them. Am I the only one here who get's irritated at people for criticising Rachel for fence sitting? It seems that the critics have never found themselves in that position ![]() What do these critics do when like me they get caught in the middle. |
