Right, I've just had a row with my mum about my A Level result (singular, yes. I got an A in English, E in General Studies, am retaking Politics in January...and would like to do others in future).

Basically, she's 'disappointed in' and 'expected better of' me, because I only have one grade and I'm just a bit...angry about it.

The hypocrisy of this is that she, and my two older brothers, haven't even got any ****ing GCSEs, let alone A Levels, and she has the audacity to have a go at me for "just one" A grade.

To rub salt in the wound I had asked if a couple of friends could stay over at our house tonight because we WERE going out to celebrate but now she's being petty and saying they can't stay over.

Am I in any wrong here at all?
