Hi there, I don't often post topics in Chat and Games, but this is an idea I've had for a while that I've had in progress for about a week now.
The idea is that I've predetermined a winner of a fantasy Big Brother, with my own predetermined rules and so on. However, I'll be writing up chunks of the story at a time, normally "week by week" so that you, the readers, can get into it and hopefully be clamoring for more ![]() I'll make the story interactive, so that you can be the crowd on eviction nights, and I suppose if it's popular enough, u2u me with who you'd like to see evicted, questions that you'd like a housemate to be asked upon their eviction etc. I'll just dive straight into it and introduce the housemates, I guess! ------------------------------------- Joey Larone, 27, builder, Reading; Joey is a keen sports enthusiast, he's currently single, having been married once before. He describes himself as a "gym nut" but doesn't like to see people get picked on, and always tries to do what's right. He's a Christian, though he admits his morals are loose. If he had a million pounds, he'd buy a mansion with a built in gym. Ann Wilson, 36, massage therapist, Exeter: Ann is a self confessed chocoholic, too loud and opinionated for her own good, but her saving grace is that she gives a good massage. She's single, describes herself as a "fag hag" and says that if she could change any part of her body, it would be her stomach. Ann hates arrogant jocks, and finds most young people "immature and annoying." Sadie Andersen, 23, model, originally from Leipzig, Germany: Sadie is an accomplished model from Germany who moved over to the UK three years ago with her then-boyfriend. If Sadie was an animal, she'd be a cat, because they're pretty, intelligent but get to laze around all day. Sadie has a degree in Sports Science, and considers fitness to be of the utmost importance. She hates cheats and gets on better with men than women. Sebastien Potter, 30, IT consultant, Birmingham: Seb hates when people ask him if he's related to Harry Potter, he loves ice cream and can't go a day without it. In his spare time, he performs his comedy act at local gigs, and has entertained crowds of over 500 people before. He's been single for six years, and hopes to find either a girlfriend or a best friend in the house. Linsey Blair, 20, student, Brechin: Linsey is a 20 year old student from Scotland who loves nothing more than a good party. Her greatest fear is of the unknown, but hopes to overcome this fear by being in the Big Brother house. She has a boyfriend, and says that she would happily appear on the cover of Nuts or Zoo magazine, if she was paid enough. She says she's going to hate not going to the hairdresser, because her roots will start to show, she's a natural redhead but dyes her hair blonde because she used to get teased for it. Will Raeburn, 25, mechanic, Manchester: Will has two Rottweilers, called Fluff and Sparkles, because he thought it'd be a laugh. Will's into weightlifting, and claims he's never lost an arm-wrestling match before. He doesn't trust women who flirt, and says that he uses people so that they can't use him. He's allergic to peanuts and thinks girls with peroxide blonde hair look dumb. Vicky Busey, 38, receptionist, London: Vicky can't stand hypocrites, Tom Jones and pineapple juice. She can't do crosswords, but she can do Sudoku puzzles in under ten minutes. If Vicky could have any superpower, she would like to be able to fly, because she hates planes. Vicky doesn't believe in global warming, and does her best to get along with everybody. Russell Carter, 19, unemployed, Luton: Russell's worst habit is biting his nails when he's nervous and smoking when he's drunk. He left school when he was 16 because he hated it, and his last job was working as a fruit and veg seller in a market. When he was younger, he wanted to be an astronaut. He admits that he uses his good looks to get what he wants, but he's not arrogant about it. He hates guys who abuse girls, and his favourite food is Chinese. Bob Wheeler, 40, criminal defence lawyer, London: Bob is on Big Brother because he wants to experience something that money can't buy. He's watched Big Brother a few times before and dislikes that it's mostly young, fame hungry people who enter. Bob claims he has no bad habits, and he admits he's a chauvinist, but "only towards young girls who ought to know their place." Bob is used to people booing him, due to the line of his work, and likes to be controversial. Hallé Buebele, 19, songwriter, Manchester: Hallé's parents are from South Africa, so she's bilingual in English and Afrikaans, and a lot of her songwriting is a mixture between the two. She hopes to one day write songs for major artists. She's always been quiet, she's a devout Christian and is still a virgin. Hallé would try to end poverty if she was the richest person in the world, because it affects her grandparents in Nigeria. Roddy Sangster, 37, philosopher, Llanelli: Roddy's a keen debater and has won competitions for his debating before. He has a "ferocious temper" and believes that regrets are for the weak. If he had to compare himself to any superhero, it would be Batman, because he often reflects on his actions before making his next move. He enjoys dinner parties, hillwalking, squash and has a pet turtle. Susanne Yu, 34, dance teacher, London: Susanne is a critically acclaimed former ballet dancer, who retired at the age of 23 due to the stress of touring all the time. She took a few years out before setting up her dance school, and branching out into other types of dance. She later married a Chinese businessman who fell in love with her dancing, she's now been married for 6 years. Susanne considers herself as a mother figure, and admits she can be a little bit condescending at times. Steve Hattersley, 30, accountant, Glasgow: Steve wanted to be a police officer when he grew up, and he always wished he had a pet dog like Snoopy. He can play four instruments, and in his spare time he plays football for his local Sunday league team. He dislikes loud women, and would like to win Big Brother because he wants a bit of excitement in his life, and he thinks being famous would do that. Rochelle Phillips, 19, student, Carlisle: Rochelle is studying economics at university but doesn't enjoy it as much as she thought she would. She got straight As all the way through school, and considers herself to be a perfectionist. She can't swim and is frightened easily, and believes in ghosts. She wishes she had bigger boobs, and says if she had £1 million, the first thing she'd do would be to get a boob job. Pete Hennel, 22, apprentice engineer, Runcorn: Pete is in a band in his spare time, and proudly says that he is hardcore straight edge, he doesn't even take caffeine. He says he hates politics and he wishes he was around when anarchy in the UK was at its height. His favourite vegetable is broccoli, and if he could travel to the future, the first thing he'd ask would be if they still made physical records, or if everything was digital. Saskia Phelps, 25, online store owner, Dagenham: Saskia works from home, due to the nature of her business, so she's used to finding ways to keep herself entertained for hours on end. She loves household chores, and likes to have a routine for everything she does. She's fanatical about keeping healthy, but claims she's not had time for a boyfriend since she was a teenager. Saskia hopes to be a source of entertainment in the house, with her quick wit and her frivolous nature. Tom Forrest, 25, chauffeur, Dundee: Tom enjoys his job as a chauffeur because he likes wearing suits, it's a relaxing job and he gets to know his clients on a personal level - and the bonuses are great. Tom's dream job is the one he has, he says it fits him perfectly. He's single, and claims looks aren't important to him. Tom's major flaw is that he can't accept things as they are, he always needs to know the full truth behind everything. Ruben Scott, 27, unemployed, London: Ruben is a 27 year old unemployed, single gay man from South East London. Ruben's favourite film is The Notebook, and he hates country music. He's a compulsive liar, but doesn't see it as a bad thing, because his lies don't hurt anybody. He hates homophobes, and he wants to win Big Brother because he wants to prove to himself he's not useless. ---------------------------------------------------- Davina: Big Brother house, this is Davina, you are live on Channel 4, please do not swear. Housemates, this year, Big Brother has decided to shake things up in the house. Instead of nominating two people every week, you will be voting to save your fellow housemates, and ranking them in order of your preference. The first set of nominations will take place in two days time, so housemates have two days to get to know everybody and make friends. Housemates look concerned but begin to introduce themselves to each other; notably the housemates split into two groups - Ann, Ruben, Vicky, Susanne, Bob, Roddy, Saskia, Steve and Seb & Hallé, Rochelle, Linsey, Sadie, Will, Tom, Joey, Russell, Pete Saskia is the only housemate who appears to be mingling between the two groups; for the most part, housemates are split between their ages - those who are over 30 are conversing, and those under 30 are conversing. To be continued. |
