Opik brands BB talk \"absolute nonsense\"

Lembit Opik has quashed reports he will appear on the next series of Celebrity Big Brother, adding that he "politely declined" in the past.
Members of the Lib Dem MP's campaign team consider the rumours to be "mischief-making", while Opik, 43, said they were "absolute nonsense", adding: "There is no truth in it whatsoever."
The politician is currently in the campaign race to take over from Simon Hughes as party president. Spokesman Richard Clein told the BBC he is busy focusing all his efforts on his career.
Opik's high-profile engagement to Cheeky Girls singer Gabriela Irima ended in July. The Romanian star was allegedly seen locking lips with a mystery man in a London club the following month.
