Default Alexandra - A More Versatile Leona?

before i begin; I AM NOT BASHING LEONA SIMPLY MAKING A COMPARISON BETWEEN THE X-FACTOR WINNER AND A COMPETITOR IN THE CURRENT SERIES. :]

First live show, and I expected, as I'm sure many others did, Alex to belt out a ballad. However she surprised by singing an upbeat song, and she admitted on the show that she wanted to show she can sing upbeat songs as she's only done slower ones so far in the competition.
Providing she does a mix of uptempo songs&ballads, would this prove she's more versatile than Leona?

The only times we've really heard Leona do upbeat was with 'Lady Marmalade'/'Could It Be Magic?' on The X-Factor [though they're not particularly fast songs], and with her new single 'Forgive Me' [though her diction isn't fantastic on that either].

Despite having a lower range, I still think of Alexandra as similar to Leona [although their voices are quite different], but possibly more versatile.
Opinions?
How would you compare Leona/Alexandra?
