SIMON Cowell has shown his softer side – by loaning his sole X Factor act his private jet to see his mum and new baby sister.

The music mogul – often dubbed as ‘Mr Nasty’ – proved he was not all bad when he lined up his prized possession for Eoghan Quigg.


The 16-year-old singer has reportedly been in tears because he still hadn't seen his mum Denise or his new baby sister Chrissie-Mia since she was born five days ago.

So Simon has offered the use of his personal jet to fly him home to Dungiven in Nothern Ireland tomorrow.

The lad’s pal revealed: “It will be a flying visit, as Eoghan is in the middle of rehearsals for this Saturday's show, but he is over the moon.

“Simon called him up personally with the surprise and that set poor Eoghan off again, but this time they were tears of joy.”
