A rare night on the tiles leaves Leona Lewis looking worse for wear
Quote:
A rare night on the tiles leaves Leona Lewis looking worse for wear She usually prefers quiet nights in, but last night squeeky-clean Leona Lewis decided to really let her hair down.
The former X Factor winner made the most of her rare night on the tiles, starting off at a Glamour magazine do thrown in her honour at the Sanderson Hotel before kicking on to a star-studded Agent Provocateur catwalk show.
All the merriment proved a little too much for the 23-year-old, who finally emerged looking a little worse for wear and unsteady on her feet.
Lucky for Leona, who was wearing a little black dress and boots, she had a friend to lean on, with the blonde companion kindly guiding her out.
The chart-topping star generally shuns glitzy events, saying this week: 'I just like to stay at home and chill out with my friends, maybe go for a nice meal.
'I like to relax and take it easy - I'm a low-key kind of girl.'
he also revealed that she is buying her first flat - in Hackney.
She is in the process of purchasing the East London property she has been renting with boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
'We were renting it but the landlord was like "You have to get out now." I talked him into selling it to me,' she told Hello! magazine.
'When you're settled it's hard to move. I love the flat - it's really private and the neighbours are cool - and it's very close to my mum and dad.'
The 23-year-old grew up in the Hackney area and has stayed true to her roots, maintaining that she is proud to be a 'Hackney girl.'
She says that although she loves travelling, she couldn't imagine moving to a different country.
'I don't think I'd move permanently. I love going to America, there are so many great people there and I spent a lot of time there when I was recording the album, but I like spending time between the two countries.
'I'm not sure I could permanently uproot myself from the UK - it would be too hard,' she says.
