I'm A Celeb's Nicola gets a fright after a leech latches onto her ample chest

Nicola McLean had something to get off her chest in last night's I'm A Celebrity ... a blood-sucking leech.

The parasite attached itself to the glamour model's breast while she struggled to win a Celebrity Chest with Joe Swash.

The pair had to put their hands in gloves inside a water tank and untie four tight knots.

Tiring half way through the task, Nicola tried to persuade Joe to give up the challenge.

She said later: 'I couldn't be bothered to do it because the treats that we get are minimal.

'I won a mission to beat Dani (Behr) in my last Celebrity Chest, and I got a cracker with a piece of cheese and a grape.'

She then almost gave up again when she spotted a leech on her breast.

'It was disgusting,' she complained. 'I couldn't believe I had a dirty leech trying to suck blood from my boob.

'I don't blame it, because it is a very nice boob to suck blood from.'

Joe cheekily added: 'Nicola had a leech on her booby. Some leeches are very clever. They know exactly where to go.'

The pair persisted in the task and eventually were able to win the chest. But their delight turned to disappointment when they got it back to camp and discovered what was inside.

o open the chest they were asked: 'In 1979 the Dollar hit Love's Got A Hold On Me reached the number four slot in the UK singles chart. What song was number one?'

The contestants provided the correct answer - Message In A Bottle by The Police - and discovered coffee inside.

It was a bitter treat for Joe and Nicola who both dislike the hot drink.

Nicola moaned: 'I hate coffee. Rubbish. I can't believe we don't like coffee.'

'All that work and I hate coffee,' Swash agreed, before angrily hurling the chest into the creek.

Swash remains odds-on favourite with bookmakers to win the show, followed by Takei, Esther Rantzen and former tennis star Martina Navratilova.
