BBLB host George Lamb has admitted that the show’s future looks uncertain on Channel 4.
The corporation’s contract for Big Brother ends next year after its 11th series, and the BBLB host confessed that it would be the best time to call it a day. He told The Sun: “I think they’d knock it on the head after this one, the 10th anniversary, if they could. “The show has made people a lot of money and it’s entertained viewers at home but now it’s time to move on and find the next Big Brother.” Lamb’s comments come just a few days after Davina McCall said that the show would be axed after its current contract runs out. Earlier this year, commissioning editor Angela Jain also revealed that she would “have liked to end on the tenth anniversary of the series”. The tenth series of the show returns this summer. source inside bb |
