In a parisien school, David walked into class five minutes early only to be ignored - as was the custom - by his peers. He scanned the room. The more distinguished Jean-Paul with his girlfriend Simone, talking to Immanuel. René, nearby, surrounded by the more attractive girls of the class. David took a seat as he usually did - at the back - and sat there until the bell. No one spoke to him. No one ever did. The year before, when he'd transferred from a school in Scotland to central Paris, his peers laughed at his - frankly, poor, - french accent. He also lacked the flair which the others had in abundance. He was big whilst the others were slight; he was unattractive, whilst the majority of his class were not.
As their first lesson started he stared at the blackboard and his teacher. His teacher was ugliest man in the world - if not all history. His nose was red, unattractive and large; his face discolored and his stance, unimpressive. But he was loved by certain students. Alexander and Paul at the front, for example, sat there and idolized him. David wasn't really keen.
But today, a new boy entered the room. Thin, not attractive, with light blue eyes and a somewhat distinguished air. As the teacher announced his name, David fell in love.
And that is where the story starts.
