Okay, I know we have these threads everyday on here, so apologies but the search function doesn't work and the last one was probably 15 pages back.
Anyway, the producers seem to be pretty crap on the twists front this year, and I've seen some great ideas on here before, so let us know of your ideas. ![]() The £50,000 Decision: This idea is similar, if not identical to the C4 TV show 'Unanimous' a few years ago, so here goes. All housemates are told to go to the task room and gather around a circular table. In front of the table is a case containing £50,000. Once there, housemates must remain silent and are told the following: In a moment, housemates are going to make a very important decision, which could change someones life, or ruin others. Housemates are going to be given two minutes, in which to discuss as a group who they want to award £50,000 to. After this time, housemates will each vote seperately and secretly on cards which will be provided. For the housemate to win the £50,000, the decision must be unanimous, and everyone, excluding that housemate themselves, must have voted for the same housemate. If the decision is not unanimous, nobody will win anything, and the Big Brother Prize Fund will be halved to just £50,000. After this, one housemate is called to the Diary Room to collect the voting cards, where they are also told the following: As you are aware, housemates are about to vote for someone to win £50,000. However, not everything is as it seems. By coming to the Diary Room, you also have the chance to win some money. You are going to be given the oppurtunity to predict who you think housemates will unanimously vote to give the money to. If you correctly predict this, and the housemate you choose wins £50,000, you will win half of this, £25,000. However, if you fail to predict which housemate will win the £50,000, you will win nothing, and should you win Big Brother 2009, you will only recieve £50,000. Once you have made your prediction, you should use your powers of persuasion to make the group unanimously vote for this person. You are not permitted to tell your fellow housemates ANY of this information, and if you do, you will be punished. This housemates then makes their prediction, and returns to the Task Room. Housemates are then given two minutes to discuss amongst them who to give the £50,000 to, whilst the person who was called to the Diary Room is using their powers of persuasion as much as possible. After this time, housemates must remain silent and each vote seperately and secretly on cards behind shields. Once done, each housemate in turn will reveal their vote and they'll find out if the decision is unanimous. If it's not, the Big Brother Prize Fund is halved to £50,000. If it is, and the housemate who was called to the Diary Room predicted it correctly, they both win £25,000. If it is, but the housemate who was called to the Diary Room didn't predict it correctly, then the winner has an important decision to make. They must choose whether to KEEP the £50,000, but in return halve the Big Brother Prize Fund to just £50,000, or to DECLINE the £50,000, and double the Prize Fund to £200,000. That's my idea, sorry for the long post, and hope it wasn't too complicated. ![]() |
