The only reason she's so afraid to face the hate she has inspired in the viewing public is because she didn't realise how transparent her little manipulations have been. She thought she'd actually come across all charming and sweet, thinking people would just be amazed by her talent to manipulate the opposite sex into falling for her, perhaps because that's what she's used to from her friends which I imagine must have to kiss her butt to get in her 'clique'.
