Noirin became angry with Marcus in the early hours after he pulled her up for being insensitive towards Tom's departure.
Following the argument, Noirin told Marcus, "Go **** yourself," and later told Sophie that he was making her time in the house miserable. The pair argued as Tom was preparing to walk out of the house through the Diary Room. Trying to persuade him to stay, Noirin joked: "I thought you were stronger than this." As Tom went into another room, Marcus told the Dubliner: "I don't think that was a very nice thing to say, Noirin." Marcus has repeatedly clashed with Tom during the past week, and his change of opinion on the yacht importer seemed to anger Noirin. "I was joking. Marcus, go **** yourself," she snapped. She and Sophie were later stood in the kitchen talking about how down they had been during the past couple of weeks, when Noirin relayed the disagreement. She said of Marcus: "He was acting like [Tom's] best friend, and he couldn't stand him." Sophie agreed that Marcus was the one "turning people against Tom" and assured Noirin: "He's just licking his wounds. He needs to grow up." "I don't want to be here with Marcus anymore," Noirin remarked, adding: "He's just being a dickhead. He says he's got no friends, but why does he think that is?" She continued: "He's making my life miserable. He only talks about death and smashing things up... his breath stinks. He's ****ing weird, a control freak, thinks he's always ****ing right." Sophie then suggested to Noirin that they needed more fun in the house to distract them from thinking too much. |
