I hate to agree with you on something as serious as a clinical illness and we'd be foolish to lay claim to any wild and unsubstantiated theories, but you may well be on to something there. She does seem a bit detached and though I wouldn't go as far as to say that it might be bipolar, there's definitely signs there of some underlying issue. But anyway, we shouldn't be hasty.
