I haven't forgotten what she was like and I do not think her character has changed significantly. She has been keeping her head down ever since she was told she was hated outside the House. Seems fairly plain what is going on.

Spot on. She's as argumentative as anything but has to consciously make an effort to not get into things as then her true nature comes out.
