It gives people an unfair advantage, too. For example, Danyl's audition would be no where near as impressive without his backing track.
When emotionally fragile people come on stage it's horrible watching them be ridiculed by thousands of people.
By doing it in front of an audience straight away they wittle down potential talent who are too nervous to audition in front of a massive audience and we'll lose that journey, the mentors helping them to overcome stagefright and encouraging them up to the live shows, rubbish!

If they are emotionally fragile then The X Factor probably isn't best for them. The chances are, they wouldn't be able to cope with the fame and would end up like Susan Boyle.

Yeah but it's about their journey and how they over come the stage fright, most are really nervous at first, that is the point of xfactor, we watch them get better and face the next stage.
