Default Are you easily influenced?

Do you allow others to influence your opinion. I doubt anyone will admit it, but it does happen time and time again.

1) A housemate will say something about another housemate.
2) The host's will say something about someone.
3) The show audience show a housemates popularity.
4) The people on forums giving their opinions about how good or how bad a particular housemate is.
5) The highlights shows editing.
6) The tabloids putting their mostly false spin on things.

Is it all these opinions that are thrust upon us that change our minds about a housemate? or did we not like them in the first place and jump on what someone has said to bring it to the forefront to try and encourage others to think the same?
If a popular housemate says something about another, ie. 'this one is a fake that one is a fake', suddenly there is a flow of forum mates saying the same. If an unpopular HM says something similar about someone, suddenly there is a flow of people on here complaining about them saying it.
With host's and audiences showing their like or dislike for a housemate. Do you find yourself liking HMs because many or someone you like has said it, or if you see a housemates popularity waining do you start to go off of them?
When the Highlights show somebody doing or not doing anything, do you stop to consider that the whole thing may have been completely taken out of context due to clever editing? I myself can only take what I actually hear or see someone say or do, and even then I weigh up the reasons why they have said or done something. I rarely form an opinion that I don't know the full story about.
Another thing I have noticed with FMs and voters is that when someone says or does something really nasty to another housemate, suddenly people have decided that they want the housemate who was wronged to win although they have not actually done anything to deserve the win. A good example is Rachell last year.
It doesn't make any difference to me what anyone else comes on here and says in complaint or praise for any housemate. I enjoy to discuss opinions but I know who I like and have my reasons and only the housemates his/herself can change my opinion.
I would be interested in other forum mates views on this.
