There's is absolutely no basis whatsoever to the idea that Marcus's treatment of people was varied or inconsistent, and I haven't seen you give any examples whatsoever El Prox. The key example I will give is in relation to Tom... Yes there was bravado and a bit of facade etc. on Marcus' part.. But if you had been watching the livefeed the night Tom was in jail.. you will have seen the direct confrontation between the two, whereby both "egos" for want of a better word came head to head. The point that Marcus may have taken on roles of bravado etc. is completely separate to the point you are attempting to make about him being selective with it... If there was any truth to what you're saying he would have avoided Tom entirely.
You might need to explain more directly what you mean.
I'm not denying that the behaviour towards and speeches about Tom were laughable...but the point is, any well balanced person accepts that people have flaws...that generally clashes of personalities etc. and insecurties can result in people acting up and maybe making themselves look foolish. But we can relate to the fact that this is a flaw that is human and relates to everyone, however it may vary.
You might want to take a look at the HM you support, for exhibiting such behaviour of defensiveness, bravado etc. The idea that Marcus needs to be singled out is completely based on superficial reasons. Yer girl dixiebell's post sums this whole thing up. Completely superficial, unfounded and shallow view based on a stereotype of a particular kind of person you don't like!
