I don't see the benefit to Kanye of doing this if it was staged - as he was scheduled to perform later, and by doing this, he lost a lot of respect from an awful lot of people, so I can't imagine why he would want that. However, I have more respect for Taylor and Beyonce after this incident. - they behaved with dignity, something which cannot be said of Kanye.
