Default Twins watch porn whilst 2 others have text relationship as house becomes chaos

You couldn't make this stuff up

Quote:
ANGRY X Factor boss Simon Cowell had to step in personally to bring sanity back to his contestants' "out of control" house.

In a sensational move to save Britain's top TV series, a team of psychologists and experts were called into action as the young stars' mansion went into meltdown with some inmates said to be at breaking point.

The north London house has descended into chaos with the wannabes allowed to run riot.

One contestant was shocked to discover text messages on a mobile phone between two others discussing their feelings for each other - in complete defiance of a 'no-relationship' rule.

And cheeky 18-year-old Jedward twins Jed and Edward Grimes were caught giggling over internet porn as they waited for a singing lesson.

Worried boss Simon Cowell stepped in, desperate to avoid another SuBo-style catastrophe where the stress and strain on Britain's Got Talent's fragile runner-up Susan Boyle propelled her into a breakdown.

An inside source on the show revealed: "Simon knows he has a duty of care to these youngsters and is determined to stamp the problems out NOW."

To head off disaster the 50-year-old pop guru personally:

BAWLED out the worst offenders for their outrageous behaviour.

CALLED in contestants' families for urgent crisis talks.

ORDERED a shake-up next year, dividing the sexes into TWO separate houses.

He is also considering parachuting in a tough live-in 'matron' to keep order.

Simon's intervention was sparked by an incident at the house last weekend just hours before the Jedward twins controversially kept their place on the show after their Ghostbusters performance.

One contestant was left "distraught" when the incident was brought to the attention of show bosses. And another housemate was spoken to by executives.

The show's psychologists moved in to support the upset contestant, whose parents were contacted.

The drama climaxes a season of controversy that has dogged the show.

Producers have already warned the youngsters of their no-romance rule after it emerged Stacey Solomon and Olly Murrs shared a kiss. Constant internet rumours have surfaced about problems between occupants in the house. Bisexual teacher Danyl Johnson, 27, was accused of bullying and branded "vile" by judge Louis Walsh.

With stress levels in the house now said to be at boiling point under the pressure of live finals, producers are determined to be tough and warned: "No more incidents, rows or flings!"

The porn incident involving Jedward - who last night stole the show with a blockbuster production of Queen hit Under Pressure - was considered a teenage lark but still fuelled concern.

A top source deep inside X Factor last night confirmed: "Simon's learnt so many lessons from what happened with Susan Boyle and is being more proactive this time. This has become the biggest show on TV with enormous pressures on the contestants and they're just kids who have never experienced anything like this before in their lives.

"That's why every resource is available to help them, including support workers and counsellors. Simon knows the house must be in order or it'll have serious consequences for the show."

Our source said: "Until now there have been no staff in the house whose duty is to monitor the behaviour. It's like an out of control boarding school.

"Sure, they have security outside to keep fans at bay. But no one to ask for personal advice and support. It's like the Big Brother house without cameras.

"The team believe appointing a matron would curb misbehaviour, stop late-night antics and instil some discipline."

Producers had hoped that as one of the older members of the house, and a teacher, Danyl would defuse any problems. But our source revealed he has actually been a disruptive influence away from the cameras. "With his background you'd think he would have as acted as a calming influence," said the insider. "But he has CAUSED problems in the house and increased tensions. The viewers never see any of this.

"It's also chaos in there because there are no set timetables. Contestants come and go at all different times.

"On top of this there have been clashes, rivalries and arguments over petty things which get exaggerated in the confines of the house. Really, they're young adults and can do what they want. But they're not used to fending for themselves under such intense scrutiny.

"The pressures mount as the week progresses because one of them WILL be voted out - and minor rows get blown out of proportion."

They should turn it into Big Brother next year, nightly highlights show with the Saturday/Sunday shows acting as the eviction
